Presentation: Asset managers role to support the transition to a more sustainable economy
The shock of COVID has served to strengthen the trend already started towards a low-carbon future but has also highlighted the need to take on social issues within responsible investment . With governments and society driving a sustainable recovery, I will share thoughts on how asset managers can/should be investing to support the transition to a more sustainable economy and what it means for investors, with a focus on the “E” in ESG and why the “S” will take on more prominence going forwards.
In 2020, Jane was appointed Head of Investment Specialists, AXA IM Core, with a focus on responsible investing . Prior to this, Jane spent 17 years within our Rosenberg equities team, joining as Portfolio Manager in 2003 and became Global Head of Client Portfolio Management in 2010. In 2017, her role expanded to include driving Rosenberg’s overall product strategy and investment offering, notably in terms of responsible investing.
