Fidelity International

Presentation: From ambition to action in the race to net zero

Climate change poses one of, if not the most, significant risks to the long-term profitability and sustainability of companies. To limit global warming and reach ‘net zero emissions’, the global economy will need to go through a radical transformation. To embrace this challenge, what ambitions should a major international asset manager set and what actions must it take? How does this materialize concretely in an investment strategy? Aela Cozic, Assistant Portfolio Manager of the FF – Sustainable Eurozone Equity Fund, will share her perspectives and explain the progress achieved by Fidelity International.

Aela joined Fidelity International in 2017 to assist in the integration of ESG analysis across asset classes, company engagements, and internal initiatives to enhance our ESG strategy and processes. Since February 2021, she is Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Fidelity Sustainable Eurozone Equity and Fidelity Sustainable European Equity funds. Prior to joining Fidelity, Aela worked as a Responsible Investment Analyst at USS Investment Management and also Novethic. Aela has passed Level 2 of the CFA Program, the IMC and holds a Master’s degree in financial management from Toulouse Business School, France.
