Bénédicte Mougeot (Paris) is an Equity Portfolio Manager, having held various investment roles at HSBC Asset management since 1996. Before assuming her current role, she managed Fixed Income and Equity portfolios, and set up of the Quant Equity Platform in Hong Kong. Since 2015, Bénédicte has been focused on ESG portfolios, and was behind the development and launch of the Europe Equity Green Transition fund in 2018. She graduated with a degree in Finance and Management from the Université Paris Dauphine (France) and holds a Postgraduate degree in Advanced Master in Finance & Actuarial Science from the business school ESSEC (France).

The lecture will cover our approach and methodology to investing in the Green transition of European companies, as espoused by country labels (France, Belgium) and by evolving European directives European directives including the future EU Taxonomy. We will discuss and illustrate through mini business cases how we identify eligible companies with measurable benefits to the Energy Transition. Our approach aims to provide a disciplined framework that proactively meets developments and challenges on the regulatory and technological front.
