Presentation: "Fixed income in a changing economic cycle"

With the changing geopolitical backdrop, ongoing US/China Trade war, shifting demographics and transition of the global economy, bond investors need to be nimble and open to new opportunities. As markets begin to price in a recession, investors are wondering if interest rates have peaked and if they could begin to decline. This is problematic for those seeking yield to deliver low-risk regular income. However, while the trade war and other ongoing geopolitical issues will have negative repercussions for the global economy, there could be opportunities for investors looking towards higher quality assets and thinking more globally. As we approach the end of the cycle, is there really money to be made in fixed income?
