SIA is a Swiss based asset management boutique.
Since more than 22 years we manage the Long Term Investment Fund Classic, a global equity fund (9% p.a. since inception) and since 19 years the Long Term Investment Fund Natural Resources. We pursues a long-term value approach which we call “Strategic Investing”. With this approach, SIA takes the perspective of a business owner. The toolbox for this strategic analysis has been built over the past 30 years by SIA’s founder Prof. José Carlos Jarillo, who was a strategy professor with Harvard University background.
Our companies are kept for a long time, only sold if we believe their profitability has irreversibly deteriorated, or if a high selling price will offset future profits and there’s no longer any justification for keeping them.
