Biography:

Georgios is Global Head of Fixed Income Product Specialists and Managing Director at Allianz Global Investors, responsible for representing our fixed income strategies and engaging with clients on our active value proposition.

Previously, Georgios was Head of Investment Structuring across asset classes and strategies. Before joining Allianz Global Investors in 2014, he was Head of Investment Risk at Invesco and a Director in the Global Markets group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to that Georgios worked in private, corporate and investment banking at Deutsche Bank and UBS. He was also an economist at the European Central Bank and a financial markets regulator in the UK earlier in his career.

Georgios graduated with a BSFS from Georgetown University and an MPhil from the University of Oxford.
